We know that Scouts are always looking for unique ways to earn Activity Pins and Belt Loops, so we have created exciting and interactive advancement workshops designed around our museum. PARENT AND LEADER TRAINING

Training is vital to providing a safe and fun program for all of the Scouts. If you have not received any leader specific training, then now is the time to get with the district’s training coordinators. If you have recently changed positions, then you most likely will need to take leader specific training for the new position. Training is fun, exciting, and interactive. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to grow as a leader and learn from all of our experienced volunteers.

For information about the New Leaders Essentials and Cub Leader Specific Training, then please contact Vivian Nicholson at (281) 495-4260 or barry.nicholson@sbcglobal.net.

All leaders are welcomed to attend WOOD BADGE TRAINING.  It is a wonderful experience consisting of 2 full weekends at Camp Strake.  This is an event that focuses on you – the leader.  There is a session coming soon and they fill up fast – don’t miss out on this awesome experience!

Visit http://www.samhoustonbsa.org/Home/Training/WoodBadge/ and sign up today.
