Welcome to the
Mighty Tatanka District.
Tang Nguyen is the District Executive who serves the Alief ISD area in Southwest Houston. The mission of Scouting is to lead youth to life long values, service and achievement.
Last year, the Tatanka District (Alief Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts) served more then 1000 youth with the help of over 400 adult volunteers for Alief area.
Scouting activities consist of Cub Fall Festivals, Webelos Extravaganzas, First Aid Meets, Spring Camporees, Merit Badge Fairs, Scout Fairs, Day Camp and many more fun and exciting adventures. Since Scouting is a year around program, you are always welcome to join.
